Introduction to my blog...

A lot has happened this year, and a lot is about to happen in the last few months of this year.  I figured I'd start this blog in order to keep all of my friends and family up to date with the latest happenings.

So - what all might I post about?  Well, here are all of the great things that have happened lately:

Thom and I got engaged on July 5th!  

therefore, I'll probably be posting some of the details of the wedding as we start the progress on those.

I'm moving to Stockholm the middle of October, 2008.  I'm heading over there to play bandy for the season and get to know a few new people, learn new things about Sweden, and enjoy a bit more of life.  Thom and Reese will be coming over in December for the holidays and to stay for a few months.  I'm pretty excited about the whole opportunity, but a bit nervous too.

Paul and I are going to plan on doing another nutty race next year - perhaps the "MN Border to Border" where we go from the southern part of MN to the northern part of MN.  (200 miles bike day 1, 200 miles bike day 2, 50 miles running day 3, and 50 miles canoeing day 4).  Should be good times.

Or perhaps some other race preparations I'm doing at the time.

We have a family vacation coming up...I'd just post on that to make everyone else jealous :)

Then there are the daily things that are random thoughts - I have a lot of those.

So....here is where the preparations begin...

I have a lot of packing to do for Sweden...so perhaps I should start there!
